The CRM behemoth stated today, May 15, that it is offering three big “pricing innovations” listed below, which are meant to enable AI adoption at scale, assist enterprises in expanding their digital workforces, and provide enterprise-wide strategic investment flexibility.

New Flex Credits for Scaling Agentforce

The first pricing innovation is the new Flex Credit system, which aims to help businesses scale and manage AI investments more effectively, resulting in deeper and broader commercial consequences.

Flex credits provide a consumption-based model that aligns costs with business outcomes, allowing firms to only pay for the specific action Agentforce performs. 

This involves updating customer records, automating operations, and resolving issues. Each of them requires 20 Flex Credits ($0.10 per action), trying investment to “measurable, valuable AI-driven results”, according to Salesforce.

Flex Credits are offered in packs of 100,000 ($500). Customers may utilize the Salesforce Digital Wallet to allocate AI investment to high-value use cases, ensuring that AI projects have the most impact.
