Salesforce & AWS Enhance Partnership for Seamless AI, Data-Driven CRM, and AWS Marketplace Integration

Salesforce & AWS Enhance Partnership for Seamless AI, Data-Driven CRM, and AWS Marketplace Integration

In this article, we will elaborate on the recent Salesforce and AWS partnership. AWS (Amazon Webs Services) and Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM, recently announced their partnership to bring their solution to more customers around the globe. Within the last years, Salesforce and AWS announced their new integration abilities to simplify and secure data.

The expanded agreement makes it easier for clients to effortlessly and securely manage their data across Salesforce and AWS, as well as safely and responsibly incorporate the newest generative AI technologies into their apps and workflows.

Through this Salesforce and AWS partnership, customers can leverage fully featured services for computing, storage, databases, networking, analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), mobile, security, hybrid, virtual, and augmented reality (VR and AR), media, and application development by combining the world’s most comprehensive and widely adopted cloud platform with the leading (CRM) offering.

Advantages of this Partnership to the Customer

The collaboration will expand connectivity between AWS and Salesforce products to make it easier for clients to benefit from the combined value of Salesforce and AWS. Salesforce will now enable Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed service that makes foundation models (FMs) from prominent AI firms available via a single application programming interface (API).

This will enable Amazon Bedrock to power AI-driven apps and workflows in Salesforce via the Einstein Trust Layer. Furthermore, Salesforce Data Cloud will be expanded to facilitate data exchange across other AWS technologies. These Data Cloud interfaces will be regulated by new centralized access controls, allowing customers to manage secure user access for Data Cloud content stored in Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) at the folder, object, and file level.

Salesforce will increase its use of AWS, including compute, storage, data, and AI capabilities, as part of this relationship, further enhancing popular services such as Salesforce Data Cloud. AWS will also employ more Salesforce products, such as Data Cloud.

  • As a result, clients can quickly and seamlessly integrate all of their data to support faster and more accurate insights, forecasts, and more powerful applications. Customers will also be able to run their code for data processing tasks such as complex transformations, calculated insights, data triggers, or user-defined functions using Data Cloud, which is powered by AWS compute services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS), and AWS Lambda.

  • Bring AWS Data and AI Services to Salesforce Einstein
  • Customers will be able to develop custom prompt templates based on their data using new solutions such as Salesforce Prompt Builder, which is part of the Einstein Copilot Studio. Customers can send custom prompt templates to their favorite FMs, which will include top models hosted on Amazon Bedrock.

  • Customers will be able to use retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) approaches with models from prominent AI companies such as AI21 Labs, Amazon, Anthropic, Cohere, Meta, and Stability AI in a secure manner.

  • Seamless Customer Service with Service Cloud and Amazon Connect
  • To enhance the Salesforce Service Cloud Omnichannel supervisor experience, Salesforce and AWS are integrating Amazon Connect Chat to Service Cloud Digital Engagement and Amazon Connect forecasting, capacity planning, and agent scheduling to Service Cloud Voice.
