More than 45,000 Trailblazers from over 140 countries will converge in San Francisco this week for the Salesforce Dreamforce 2024, with millions more watching via Salesforce+. Agent Builder

Leverages current tools such as Flows, prompt templates, Apex, and APIs to enable businesses to customize their agents with minimal code. Users can establish a job for their agent by defining subjects, providing specific instructions within those topics, and building a library of activities from which they can choose. 

Model Builder 

Is a low-code constructor and control plane that let users to register, test, and activate their preferred AI models and LLMs throughout Salesforce.  

Prompt Builder

Enables customers to simply alter out-of-the-box prompt templates with their own CRM or Data Cloud data, improving the quality of the generated results. 

Agentforce Partner Network

Agentforce is an open ecosystem that allows a company’s Agentforce to execute complicated tasks by chaining together activities from Salesforce and a large network of third-party systems and agents. 

Customers may quickly install these trusted third-party extensions from the Salesforce AppExchange to personalize Agentforce’s out-of-the-box agents, create new agents with specific talents, or deploy partner-built agents for specialized industries, lines of business, or functional use cases. New Data Cloud innovations debuting at Salesforce Dreamforce 2024 include additions to unstructured data support, including native processing of audio and video data like webinars and calls to unlock deeper customer insights in a standardized semantic data model that enables anyone, including AI, to interpret and use data consistently, improved search capabilities that factor in customer content and allow for faster information discovery and real-time data activations to respond immediately. 

Customer 360 App Innovation

Salesforce Customer 360 apps share a single basis that enables AI-powered, personalized experiences across all customer touchpoints, from sales to service to marketing to commerce, with analytics and collaboration via Tableau and Slack. Customer 360 apps, built on the Salesforce Platform, may collaborate smoothly, leveraging shared data and services to provide a consistent customer experience.

Slack

Agents received a redesigned user interface. Users may now communicate with their data, gain insights, and receive assistance with tasks from both Agentforce Agents and third-party AI agents from partners such as Adobe, Anthropic, Cohere, Perplexity, and others. 

Furthermore, a new Slack channel that integrates Salesforce CRM records to channel-based conversations provides teams with a single workspace for collaboration and a real-time view of the customer, allowing them to stay aligned and drive work ahead.

Einstein Tableau

Makes the power of business intelligence (BI) and analytics available to anybody who wants to make data-driven work more scalable, efficient, and valuable. It is intended to intelligently incorporate data and insights throughout the workflow, including Customer 360 apps, Agentforc, Pulse, and Slack, making it second nature to use data to drive action. Because Tableau Einstein is based on the Salesforce Platform, any team can use analytics insights to make more timely and effective strategic choices. 

Sales Agents

In addition to two Agentforce-based sales agents, Agentforce SDR, and Agentforce Sales Coach, Sales Cloud now includes new data and AI-powered features to help sales teams drive revenue through account planning, prospecting, forecasting, and compensation management. These improvements provide sellers with a comprehensive view of their customers and business by integrating Salesforce and external data with Data Cloud and surfacing AI-powered insights in the flow of work. 

Service Cloud

New support Cloud innovations were released to offer support personnel step-by-step resolution plans, track customer sentiment, and receive AI-based recommendations to improve the customer experience. 

Furthermore, Agentforce Service Agent can offload or “deflect” and resolve client situations 24 hours a day, seven days a week using trusted data such as a company’s knowledge base, allowing it to hold accurate, fluid interactions with consumers and escalate cases to human representatives as needed.  

Marketing Cloud

New Marketing Cloud innovations will assist customers in unlocking data from across their businesses and engaging customers on their own terms by utilizing Agentforce Agents and automated capabilities. 

Marketing Cloud Advanced, a future edition of Marketing Cloud that includes advanced automation and AI capabilities, will allow marketers to integrate marketing journeys with sales, service, and commerce workflows to personalize every moment of the customer relationship.

Commerce Cloud

The next generation of Commerce Cloud combines all aspects of commerce B2C, DTC, and B2B commerce, order management, payments, and more on a single, integrated platform powered by enterprise-wide data and trusted AI. 

In Salesforce Dreamforce 2024, Commerce Cloud introduced three Agentforce agents Merchant, Buyer, and Personal Shoppers that can manage a variety of functions autonomously, including product recommendations and order lookup, without requiring direct human supervision.

MuleSoft Announcement

A comprehensive collection of integration tools that allow developers and administration to effortlessly combine structured and unstructured data from their CRM and external systems, thereby grounding AI agents and assistants in trusted data. 

Companies may also use these integrations to unleash the full power of Data Cloud and Agentforce, personalizing experiences, augmenting employee workloads at scale, developing stronger customer relationships, and ultimately boosting revenue. 

Salesforce also introduced Data Governance for the AI Enterprise, a new set of technologies that provide advanced data management, enhanced data security, and increased data privacy to assist IT teams in efficiently preparing for existing and future AI-related requirements. Free AI Training and New AI Training Centers

Salesforce will make its premium AI courses and certifications available free of charge through its free online learning platform, Trailhead, until the end of 2025. In addition, the business plans to establish additional spaces at its San Francisco headquarters, including a pop-up AI Center for in-person community AI training sessions and a dedicated floor for staff to learn about AI tools and agents. Salesforce also intends to include these rooms in other global skyscrapers.
