Salesforce today announced the general availability of MuleSoft’s Anypoint Flex Gateway Policy Development Kit (PDK), which enables developers to streamline the creation of bespoke API security rules, accelerate the delivery of API protection, and establish flexible, effective policies.  

IT leaders indicate that API and API-related solutions currently account for 33% of their income, with the potential to reduce operating expenses by 35%. APIs generate money in various ways, including access fees, usage-based pricing, premium features, and ecosystem growth.
