Salesforce New Automation to Integrate Numerous Apps to a Single Workflow in Slack

Salesforce recently introduced a new automation Slack connectors Workflow Builder that allows customers to instantly integrate numerous apps into a single process in Slack, with no back-end setup or coding required. 

These stages from third-party apps, known as connectors, are simple to integrate into workflows and provide clients with additional options for incorporating automation into Slack channels and canvases. More than 65 new integrations from Google, Atlassian, Asana, Pagerduty, and Box are now accessible in Slack’s Automation Hub. 

Workers report utilizing up to 52 different tools every week to complete tasks, yet switching between these services can be expensive and wasteful. Slack automation enables every user to streamline any job or business process across their tools, saving time and increasing productivity.

Rob Seaman, SVP of Product at Slack, stated that the ordinary employee’s day-to-day has gotten too complex, with them being forced to deal with segregated tools and data, as well as time-consuming, repetitive chores. “By giving individuals the resources they need to automate the work that is unique to their individual issues and across the tools that they know and love, we are empowering employees and taking context switching to a new level.

Kick Start Projects Across Multiple Tools

With a few clicks, users can establish a single workflow to set and track project milestones in Asana, schedule a kick-off meeting in Zoom, and share a discussion board in Miro. The project’s details and progress are automatically shared in a team channel, allowing everyone to start participating and making choices without switching contexts.

Alert and Resolve Incidents in Real Time

Users can declare an incident with PagerDuty, file an issue with Jira, record the occurrence with Salesforce, and gather a team in a dedicated incident channel all in one procedure.

Onboard New Team Members With Ease

Team leaders may shorten onboarding time by automatically sharing essential Box files, adding new members to team meetings via Google Calendar, and providing access to important channels, all accompanied by a welcome message via Slack to ensure they hit the ground running.
